Fifa hands Samuel Inkoom one year ban

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has been banned by Fifa for breaching an agreement he made with his agent.

The former Dnipro full back has been hit with a one-year ban by the world football governing body after failing to pay an agent in 2014.

The 29-year-old was instructed to pay Curtis Willer $65,000 or face a one-year ban. Inkoom failed to pay the amount and was subsequently banned for a year in June 2017.

The case has been opened again and the ex Kotoko player has been handed another ban.

Inkoom career’s has drifted from a high following his move from FC Basel to Dnipro seven seasons ago. He is currently left with no club after ending his deal with Bulgarian Club Vereya.
