Fifa instructs Ismaily to settle Dreams FC debt

Fifa has ordered Egyptian side Ismaily to pay all outstanding debt owed Dreams FC over the transfer of striker John Antwi by May 23, 2018 or face sanctions.

This follows the Egyptian side’s reluctance to pay Dreams FC the transfer fee and its share of training compensation following the transfer of the striker to Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia in 2016.

The punishment include points deductions and a suspension of the Egyptian Football Association from all CAF and FIFA tournaments if Ismaily fails to pay by the May 23 deadline.

Antwi moved to the Mangoes in 2013 and won the Egyptian top-flight goal-king award in the 2014/15 season. The current Misr El- Makassa forward currently has 16 goals in the Egyptian league.
