Caf CC: ‘Cara Brazzaville do not fear Kotoko’

Cara Brazzaville’s club president, Alain Roger Fouka, says they have no fear going into a ‘normal’ clash in the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup against Asante Kotoko this weekend.

The Congolese side face the Porcupine Warriors in a preliminary round first leg encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.

There is nothing special about our preparations for this game. To us it is a normal game,” the Cara President told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM 100.7 in an interview.

“Yes, we plan to arrive in Ghana on Thursday and our aim is to get a result that gives us the advantage from this first leg.”

“We know Kotoko very well. Our club has played them twice in the past. We learnt from those narrow defeats then and are well informed about the kind of opposition we are facing,” Alain Fouka further stated.

Cara Brazzaville have been in good form since the new Congolese season kicked off in January. They have won all three games so far which includes an impressive away win over giants AC Leopard.
