Ghanaian female referees fail to make list for 2016 WAFCON

Ghana’s female referees have been left out of the Confederation of African Football’s list of match officials for the 2016 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Eleven (11) referees and 14 assistant referees have been named for the impending 10th edition of the senior women’s football competition set to be hosted by Cameroon.

The tournament will be held from 19 November to 3 December 2016 in the Cameroonian cities of Yaoundé and Limbe.

Host Cameroon, Egypt, South Africa and Zimbabwe make up Group A whilst holders Nigeria square up with Ghana, Kenya and Mali in Group B.
