Partey and Atlético Madrid arrive in Uyo for Nigeria friendly

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey, on Monday evening, touched down Nigeria with his Atlético Madrid teammates ahead of a post-season friendly against the Super Eagles scheduled for May 22.

The match which forms the inaugural GOtv MAX Cup, arranged by video entertainment company MultiChoice Nigeria, will come off at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Fernando Torres, is top on the list of 20 players led by Coach Diego Simeone in Uyo. There are also the likes of goalkeeper Jan Oblak and Gabi.

Atletico Madrid won the Europa League for the third time last Wednesday and finished second in the LaLiga on Sunday.

The match will also air live on SuperSport Select 1 on DStv and GOtv at 1700 GMT.
