Caf CC: Raja Casablanca confident of Aduana scalp

Moroccan side Raja Casablanca are in positive mood ahead of their Caf Confederation Cup group A fixture against Aduana Stars in Dormaa.

The three-time African champions drew 0-0 in their first game against AS Vita Club at home but they are confident they can secure victory against the Ogya lads.

Club Administrator, Radoune Tantawi insists winning is the only thing on their mind.

“We are here to play to win and nothing else. We respect Aduana Stars and we know some Ghanaian players like Nathaniel Asamoah and Awal Mohammed who played for us,” he told Oyerepa FM.

“The weather is very okay and we are satisfied with it because it’s just like Morocco. Our only problem  is the kick-off time (1:00 pm) but we will manage. Nothing shows we can’t beat them.”

Aduana Stars began their campaign with defeat in Abidjan against Ivorian side Asec Mimosa. With that in mind, the Fire Boys will be fired up to have their first win in the group stage.
