Tunisia to play Spain, others in pre-World Cup test games

North African giants Tunisia have announced a series of pre-World Cup 2018 warm-up games including one against 2010 winners Spain.

The Carthage Eagles will face fellow World Cup finalists Iran, Costa Rica and former champions Spain in the build-up to this summer’s finals in Russia, officials said on Saturday.

Tunisia will first host Iran in Tunis on March 23 then Costa Rica four days later in Nice.

Their game with 2010 World Cup winners Spain takes place on June 9 in the Russian city of Krasnodar.

At the World Cup, Tunisia are in Group C along with England, Belgium and Panama.
