Karela Utd and Alassiouty SC sign partnership deal

Ghana Premier League new boys Karela United have signed a partnership agreement with Egyptian top side Alassiouty Sport Club.

The agreement was signed by Mahmoud Ạlạsywṭy̱, chairman of the board of directors of Alassiouty Sport and Karela bankroller Senator David Cobbina Brigidi in Egypt on Wednesday.

Alassiouty Sport Club, in announcement, said the strategic partnership will “explore marketing opportunities for players, training camps and refresher courses for officials of both teams.

The Egyptians also revealed the partnership is expected to lead to the opening of an academy in Ghana, preferably at Nzema Aiyinase where Karela United is based.

Meanwhile, Alassiouty are set to announce signing two players from Karela – striker Solomon Sarfo Taylor and lanky midfielder Emmanuel Mintah.
