Eric Bekoe set to join Kenya’s AFC Leopards

Former Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe has landed in Kenya and could be set to join AFC Leopards on a short term deal.

Bekoe arrived in Kenya Thursday morning and joined the Leopards squad for the morning training session.

Bekoe is said to have impressed at the training session and are currently engaged in talks over terms of the contract.

If agreed, a deal is expected to be concluded by 5pm Kenyan time when Bekoe signs for the Caf Confederation Cup-bound Ingwe.

Asante Kotoko recently turned down the chance to re-sign the 2008 Ghana Premier League goal king who last played for Sekondi Hasaacas in the 2015/2016 season. He has also had a successful stint with Egypt’s Petrojet FC in the past.
