Caf inter-club: Aduana, Kotoko to know Africa opponents today

The Confederation of Afrcian Football (Caf) will conduct the draws for its two inter-club competitions, the Champions League and Confederation Cup today, Wednesday December 13.

Caf’s top 12 ranked nations in terms of club continental performances will get four entries, two in the Champions and the other two the Confederation Cup.

But with Ghana outside the list it is allotted two entries and will thus be represented by 2016/17 league champions Aduana Stars and Cup winners Asante Kotoko in the 2018 Caf Champions League and the Confederation Cup respectively.

These two sides will discover their Preliminary/First Round opponents when the draws are held in Cairo, Egypt.

The first and second legs of the preliminary round of the 2018 Caf Champions League will be played during the weekend of 9-11 February and 16-18 February respectively while the First Round first leg will be played during the weekend of 9-11 March with the second leg during the weekend of 16-18 March.
