AshantiGold defender Tijani Joshua is on trials with Nigerian top division side Enyimba FC, Footy-Ghana can authoritatively report.
The versatile defender, sources at AshGold reveal had asked permission to see his manager. However, he ended up in Nigeria following a lucrative offer from the record Nigerian champions which comes with a trials condition.
Joshua has been training with the former African Champions for the past few days and will feature in second test match on Friday, Footy-Ghana further gathers from sources at the camp of the People’s Elephant. If the Ghana international impresses new coach Gbenga Ogunbote, he will be offered a long term deal.
Tijani Joshua is free to entertain offers from other clubs after exhausting his contract with the Miners. The-24-year-old was recently offered a new deal by AshGold but has not committed to it.
Tijani Joshua joined AshantiGold from Wa All Stars in 2013.
