Asante Kotoko were defeated 2-1 by Libyan giants Al-Ittihad Tripoli in an international friendly earlier on Wednesday.
The encounter which is the first of a two-games at the Tripoli Stadium saw the hosts taking a two-goal lead in the first half before the Ghanaian giants pulled a goal back in the second.
- Tarhouni opened the scoring with Abdelmouin Khamaj doubling the lead after converting a penalty while Obed Owusu bagged the consolation goal for Kotoko.
