Ghana’s representatives at next year’s Caf inter-club competitions, Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko, have picked alternative home grounds for their respective campaigns.
League Champions Aduana, after insisting on using the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park in Dormaa as preferred home venue and same as alternative venue for their return to the Caf Champions League were forced to settle the Accra Sports Stadium.
This means, should Dormaa fall short of Caf’s requirements, Aduana will use Accra for their home games.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko, who have the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as preferred home choice, also chose the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi as their alternative grounds for the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup. The Porcupine Warriors are representing Ghana in the Confed Cup emerging FA cup winners.
Both clubs met the two November deadlines set by Car to confirm their participation in the two inter-club competitions.
Footy-Ghana.com also understands that a Caf delegation will be paying an unannounced visit to Ghana to inspect the venues chosen by both Aduana and Kotoko.
The two Caf inter-club competitions are expected to kick-start in February next year.
